Sensation has spread in the area after the dead body of a 30-year-old woman was found in a field in Khatirha village of Sujanganj police station area in Jaunpur. The deceased has been identified as Mamta wife Awadhesh alias Bablu Harijan. Local people saw the dead body in the field in the morning.

When the family members got the information, they called 112 and informed the police about the matter. As soon as the information was received, Police Station Head Rajeev Mall reached the spot with his police force and took possession of the body and started taking necessary action.
The deceased has two children. Elder son is Pawan (12) and daughter is Sheetal (9). The police station incharge said that the deceased’s brother Chhote Lal has lodged an FIR against unknown people, on the basis of which the police is investigating the case. “A fair investigation will be conducted and strict action will be taken against the culprits,” he said.
Chhote Lal said, “My sister has been murdered and thrown in the field. We got information about this in the morning itself, then we also reached the spot and gave an application to the police for appropriate action.” Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police has now started investigation.
