According to Hindu beliefs, there is a pause on auspicious functions like marriage from Devshayani Ekadashi to Devuthani Ekadashi. On the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu awakens from the milky ocean and takes over the responsibility of running the universe, after which all the auspicious works start again.
For many people who were waiting for this auspicious occasion, the auspicious time for marriage will now begin. Everyone wishes good qualities, beauty and kindness for their spouse. According to Haridwar astrologer Pandit Shridhar Shastri, special mantra taken from Durga Saptashati can be chanted to get a worthy and virtuous wife. This mantra has been taken from the Argala Stotra of Markandeya Purana.

“A wife who is pleasant to the body and who is according to her attitude.
Savior of the ocean of the fortress world, born of the family..”
Pandit Shridhar Shastri said that by chanting this mantra 11,000 times, one gets a wife with desired qualities. To get the full effect of this mantra, chanting it 11 thousand, 21 thousand, 31 thousand, 51 thousand or 1 lakh 25 thousand times is also considered beneficial.

- In Brahma Muhurta, after bathing etc., chant 10 rosaries (1 rosary = 108 mantras) daily with a pure mind.
Continue this sequence of chanting for 10 days. - After completion of chanting 11,000 mantras, perform Havan with Dashansh mantras.
- By doing this method, a person gets a wife who beautifies his family, is full of virtues, capable and beautiful.
