Ekta Kapoor accused Rajat Dalal of faking respect towards women.

The weekend on Bigg Boss 18 began on an interesting note when Ektaa Kapoor stepped up to host and interact with the contestants. The previous week saw several intense fights among contestants amid difficult tasks. While discussing recent incidents in the house, Ektaa Kapoor accused Rajat Dalal of faking respect towards women and schooled him for bringing up other contestants’ parents during a dispute.
In the latest episode, Ektaa Kapoor questioned Rajat Dalal about his behaviour. She asked, “You say you respect women. Whenever someone attacks a girl, you say, ‘No one will point a finger at this girl’ – this is what you say or not? Toh kisike maa ko gali kyase de sakte ho (You say that you respect women. Whenever a girl faces trouble, you stand up and say, ‘No one will point a finger at her’—don’t you? Then how can you use Rajat tried to explain his stance, saying that he said things in anger, but Ektaa interrupted him, saying he was losing his reputation in anger.
Rajat Dalal further asked the host to name the contestant whom he had insulted. Ektaa Kapoor mentioned that she had seen the clip where Rajat insulted Avinash Mishra’s mother. However, to explain his actions, Rajat stated, “Pata nahi andar kya scene hain, aam admi ko aap road pe bhi chhedoge toh wo chalte chalte bhi gaali dey dega. Ye sab log star hain na… (I don’t know what’s the big deal inside, but if you tease a regular guy, then he will abuse you. These people are stars…).”
Ektaa tried to explain that it was not about anyone’s stardom. After this, Rajat further defended himself, saying that the way he grew up and the friends he was surrounded by, using slang was a common affair. He also mentioned that he did not hurl any abusive words loudly and later apologised for the same.
Ektaa pointed out that Rajat asked his co-contestant twice about Avinash’s family members, implying that he did it on purpose. She goes on to say that in this nation, the elderly are revered more than anyone else. The host stated, “If you had taken my father’s name today then I would have come to understand you and learned that anyone should be like their parents. Because whatever mom and dad do, they are God for us. (If you had used my father’s name today, I would have entered the house to explain and teach you not to involve anyone else’s parents in this. Because our parents are like gods to us).”
Apart from Rajat, Ektaa also schooled Chaahat Pandey, Sara Khan, Shrutika Arjun and Vivian Dsena for their behaviour during the past week.
