Aarti of Goddess Tulsi
Victory to you, Mother Tulsi, victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
You are the giver of happiness to the world, the goddess who grants boons to all. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
You are above all yogas, you cure all diseases.
Protecting us from all harm, you are the liberator. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
You are the young daughter of Bhat and the beloved of the village deity.
Those who worship you, dear to Lord Vishnu, attain salvation. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
Seated on Hari’s head, worshipped by all three worlds,
You are renowned as the saviour of the fallen. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
Born in a desolate land, you arrived in a divine abode,
And from you, humanity receives joy and wealth. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
Beloved of Lord Hari, tender and of a dark complexion,
Their bond of love is extraordinary. Victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
Remove our troubles, have mercy on us, Mother.
Victory to you, Mother Tulsi, victory to you, Mother Tulsi.
Aarti of Lord Shaligram
Listen to my prayer, Shaligram.
Grant me this blessing.
Every morning, after brushing,
I will lovingly bathe you.
I will offer sandalwood paste, incense, lamps, and Tulsi leaves,
And place flowers of various colours at your feet.
I will dance before you daily,
And play the bell, conch, and drum, O Lord.
I will wash your feet and take the holy water as prasad,
And, along with my family, reach Vaikuntha.
Whatever humble food we have at home,
I will offer to you and partake in it.
I will repent for sins of mind, speech, and action,
And perform circumambulations to wash them away.
Bestow your grace upon me,
So I do not face the gate of Yama.
This is the humble request of Madhodas,
To be known as a servant of Lord Hari’s devotees.
