A case has been registered against the accused accountant.
On Tuesday, an accountant working in Gabhana tehsil of Aligarh was arrested by the anti-corruption team while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000. The accused had asked for Rs 25,000 from the farmer in the name of the desired report. After which the farmer complained about this matter in the Anti Corruption Police Station.

After receiving the farmer’s complaint, the anti-corruption team became active and gave notes to the farmer with pre-recorded serial numbers. After which the farmer went to the place told by the accountant and gave him the money. After giving the money, anti-corruption officials caught the accountant. A case has been registered against him after he was caught red handed.
A case has been registered in Jawan police station
Geetam Singh is an accountant working in Gabhana Tehsil. An inquiry came to him from a farmer Kishan Veer. The accountant had to file the accident insurance report. After which Geetam Singh had asked for 25 thousand rupees from the farmer and said that he will file a report regarding his favour.
It is alleged that Geetam Singh was continuously pressurizing him to give the money. Being upset due to this, the farmer had complained about the matter. After which a team was formed under the leadership of Nasir Hussain of Anti Corruption Team. He has been arrested near Katara turn in Daurau. The team has registered a case against the accused in Jawan police station.
Accused accountant is undergoing training period
Accountant Geetam Singh, arrested on corruption charges, is originally a resident of Kemavali village of Iglas. His probation period was still going on and the accused is still a trainee. The wife of the accused is working as a constable in the police department and currently she is said to be posted in Prayagraj.
SDM Gabhana said that Lekhpal has been arrested by the anti-corruption team. He is accused of taking money from the farmer. A case has been registered against the accused. Its report is being prepared and sent to higher officials. So that departmental action can also be taken against the accused.
