A case of rape of a student from Garh Kotwali area of Hapur has come to light. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim. The police sent the victim for medical treatment and arrested the accused.

A girl student, resident of a village in Garh Ganga Khadar area, had gone to study in the college of the city. Even before she reached the college, a young man from the village seduced her on the way and took her with him. Meanwhile, when the school management informed the student’s family when she did not come to college, the family started searching for her. In the afternoon, the student returned to her home and narrated her ordeal to her family members. While giving information, the victim said that the village youth had seduced her and taken her away on his bike. Who took her to a hotel located on the side of the highway in Simbhaoli area and forcibly raped her.
Accused Shahid was arrested
On hearing the ordeal of the victim student, the family members were shocked, who hurriedly took her to the police station. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim. Kotwali in-charge Neeraj Kumar said that a case has been registered under relevant sections on the complaint of the brother of the victim student. Accused Shahid has been arrested. Further action will be taken after investigation.
