In Lucknow, 3 employees of Customer Support Services Company of Flipkart Customer Service along with cyber thugs defrauded the company of Rs 79.83 lakh. The three employees, who were working from home in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal, along with cyber thugs, attacked the company.

The game was done with the help of company’s software Aegis Customer Support Services Private Limited, located at Mirabai Marg, provides voice support, bank office operations, mail correspondence and online chat facilities to the customers. Vikas Ahlawat, Administration and Facility Officer of the company’s Aegis, told the police that Rahul Jonwal, resident of Ajmer, Andhra Pradesh, Sheikh Abdul Khadar Jilani, resident of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, and Tassarun Nazreen, resident of West Bengal Parganas, worked in Aegis under the Flipkart customer service process. The company has given permission to all three to work from home. All three were given the responsibility to check the time and status of Flipkart customers’ orders online. These people used to get information about order tracking and delivery with the help of Flipkart’s Flipkart Console software. Also used to help the customers. It also contained information about leaving for order delivery. The company came to know that the three employees, along with some customers, had committed cyber fraud by rigging the Flipkart console software. They used to cancel the order and take the money, even the goods were not returned. Vikas Ahlawat told that after booking with the help of software, these people cancel the customer’s order or RTO them during the delivery of the order, but do not inform the delivery man about it. Due to which the delivery and refund of the product started simultaneously. The company has suffered a loss of Rs 79,83,036 due to product delivery and refund. Cyber Police Station Inspector Brajesh Yadav said that Aegis Company came to know about the fraud in July. After investigation found the fraud to be true, a report has been lodged against Rahul Jonwal, Sheikh Abdul Khader Jilani and Tassarun Nazreen.
