Dehradun. The weather of Uttarakhand has remained dry for the last several months. Due to frost in the mountainous areas, the temperature is falling. Bright sunshine is shining in the plains, hence the temperature remains higher than normal. Chilling cold is felt only in the morning and evening. While issuing the forecast, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light rain and snowfall in the state from November 29. There will be further drop in temperature due to rain and snowfall. If we talk about the weather today i.e. 28th November, the weather will remain dry in all the districts. Fog can be seen in the plains in the morning.
According to Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center based in Dehradun, the weather of all the districts in Uttarakhand will remain dry on 28th November i.e. Thursday. The maximum temperature of Dehradun is likely to be 26 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 9 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 25.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 25.7 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.5 degrees Celsius. Whereas the maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 15 degrees while the minimum temperature was 4.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 16 degrees and the minimum temperature was 5.6 degrees Celsius. On Wednesday, the air quality index (AQI) of Dehradun was recorded at 101, which falls in the moderate category.
Children vulnerable to cold diarrhea
Let us tell you that in many districts including Dehradun, children and elderly people are falling prey to diseases due to dry cold. Lines of patients suffering from seasonal diseases are being seen in hospitals. Children are falling victim to cold diarrhea. Doctors advised to avoid eating outside during this season. Take a healthy diet. Include immunity boosting fruits and vegetables in your diet. Do not go for a walk too early in the morning. Wear warm clothes while going out. Keep doing exercise and yoga.
