Audi India has launched the facelift model of its luxury SUV Q7 in India today (28 November). This is its second facelift version. The company has updated its exterior and interior.
Features like panoramic sunroof, 4 zone automatic climate control and ADAS have been provided in the new Q7. However, it will get only the 3 liter V6 turbo petrol engine of the current model.
Starting Price: Rs 88.66 lakh ex-showroom Pan India The company has introduced Audi Q7 facelift in two variants. The price of its Premium Plus TFSI variant has been kept at Rs 88.66 lakh and the price of High Spec Technology TFSI variant has been kept at Rs 97.81 lakh. Both these introductory prices are ex-showroom pan India.
The company has started booking the car. You can book it through Audi India website or ‘MyAudi Connect’ app by paying token money of Rs 2 lakh. It will compete with luxury SUVs like Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90 and BMW X5.
The first model of Audi Q7 was launched in 2015.
Performance: Can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 5.6 seconds No mechanical changes will be seen in Q7. Like before, it will have a 3.0 liter V6 TFSI petrol engine, which generates power of 340hp and maximum torque of 500Nm. This engine is paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
The engine is tuned to an 8-speed automatic transmission and gets Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel drive option. The company claims that the car can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 5.6 seconds and its top speed is 250kmph.
Exterior Design: SUV will come with 5 color options The updated Audi Q7 has a new front profile. At the front, there is an octagonal grille with chrome finished vertical slats. Apart from this, HD matrix LED headlights, new LED daytime running lamps (DRL) with digital signatures and a new styled bumper with fresh air intakes have been provided.
Talking about the side profile, its base model has 19-inch alloy wheels, while the higher variants will get 20 to 22-inch alloy wheels. The newly designed taillights at the rear have LED internal lighting elements. 5 color options will be available in the SUV. These include Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray and Glacier White.

Interior and Features: 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system Minor updates have been made in the cabin of the SUV. Inside, you will get two color themed seat upholstery, which includes options of Cedar Brown and Saiga Badge. The SUV will also get electronically adjustable front seats and powered tail gate.
Q7 has a triple screen setup as before. It includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a display below the infotainment for the climate control panel. There have been some upgrades to the infotainment system which now supports third-party applications like Spotify and Amazon Music.
The updated Q7 will get features like the existing model like 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, 4-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera with park assist. Apart from this, safety features include electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, 360-degree parking camera, 8 airbags and updated ADAS package.
