Dehradun: Dry weather is being seen in Uttarakhand these days. At present there are no chances of rain in the state. According to IMD, due to western disturbance not being active, the weather is likely to remain dry across the state for the next week. Dry cold is not only having a bad effect on human health but it can also have a negative impact on crops. Today is the last day of November. After the rains have passed, light rain has been seen in only a few areas of the state, while there is drought in most of the areas.

In such a situation, the maximum temperature of the capital Dehradun also remains higher than normal, which used to decrease till the month of November, but till December, there is no decrease in it. Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Centre, Dehradun, informed that at present there is no possibility of rain in the state from the mountains to the plains during the week, that is, the weather is expected to remain dry in the entire state for the next few days. A drop in temperature can definitely be recorded in all the districts of the state in the morning and evening.

He further said that in the plains of the state, the maximum temperature has been recorded at 25 to 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature has been recorded at 8 to 9 degrees Celsius. Whereas in the hilly areas the minimum temperature has been recorded at 4 to 5 degrees and the maximum temperature has been recorded at 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. Talking about the weather of 30th November, the weather of all the districts of Uttarakhand is expected to remain dry today. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature of the capital Dehradun is likely to be 26 degrees and the minimum temperature will be around 10 degrees Celsius.
Frost may occur in hilly areas
There is no possibility of rain in the state at present but there is a possibility of frost in the hilly areas. There is a possibility of fog and mist in the plains, due to which the cold may increase as the day temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius and the temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius at night.
Dehradun’s maximum temperature was recorded at 24.6
According to the information received from Meteorological Center Dehradun, on Friday the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 24.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 27 degrees and the minimum temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius. Whereas the maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 15.8 degrees while the minimum temperature was 4.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 17.6 degrees and the minimum temperature was 6.0 degrees Celsius. On Thursday, Dehradun’s Air Quality Index (Dehradun AQI) was recorded at 83, which falls in the satisfactory category.
