The Kapoor family recently celebrated the engagement of Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani, with a special roka ceremony in Mumbai on November 23. Days after the celebration, the couple has now dropped a fresh set of pictures from the event, capturing their happy moments as they laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. In one photo, Saif Ali Khan hilariously tried to join a selfie taken by Karisma Kapoor, with other family members, including Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. The roka ceremony was attended by close family members, including Alekha and Aadar’s parents, Harry and Ninz Advani, and Reema and Manoj Jain. For the special occasion, the couple chose to wear matching white outfits. The Qaidi Band star wore a white kurta, jacket and trousers, while his better half looked stunning in a white pearl saree. Their outfits were designed by Shantnu & Nikhil and Tarun Tahiliani. The photos shared by the couple also featured a beautiful multi level cake with their names on it. Other images showed Aadar and Alekha posing together with their families.
Until recently, the wedding date of Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani was kept under wraps. However, ETimes has now confirmed that the couple has asked their friends and family to save the dates for their wedding, which is set to take place on February 20-21. The ceremony is expected to be held in Mumbai, but the venue is not known yet.
Although the couple has known each other since childhood, after Aadar separated from Tara Sutaria in 2023, they decided to take their relationship forward. Over time, their bond grew stronger, leading to their engagement and the upcoming wedding.
In an earlier chat with Zoom, Aadar Jain spoke about how different celebrities handle their relationships. He mentioned that everyone has their own way of dealing with personal matters. Some people choose to keep their relationships private, while others are open about them. Aadar highlighted that there is no right or wrong way and everyone has their own reasons for making these choices. He added that there is no pressure to follow what others do when it comes to sharing personal details.
