Delhi-based socialite and art connoisseur Shalini Passiwho shot to fame with her appearance in the show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives Season 2, is all set to begin her journey in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 18 as the sixth wild-card contestant. According to a recent report by ETimesTV, Shalini’s presence in the show will bring a touch of sophistication and drama to the season, which the audience is criticising for lacking spice.
On Tuesday, the Delhi-based socialite and art connoisseur reached Mumbai. She was spotted at the airport arrival, signalling her much-anticipated entry into Salman Khan’s reality show. Several pictures and videos of Shalini surfaced on social media.
In one such video, she was walking through the airport premises. She wore a stunning green outfit and also struck a pose in front of the shutterbugs.
A source recently told ETimesTV, “Shalini exudes a fascinating aura and draws attention wherever she goes. Her presence will undoubtedly bring a mix of glamour, intrigue, and unpredictability to the house, shaking up the existing dynamics and increasing the ongoing drama.”
Shalini will be the sixth wild-card contestant to enter this season after Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor, Aditi Mistry, Edin Rose and Yamini Malhotra. Of them, Aditi recently faced eviction from the show last week.
Shalini is a well-known socialite, philanthropist and art enthusiast from Delhi. She founded the Shalini Passi Art Foundation and MASH India to promote art and creativity. She is married to businessman Sanjay Passi, with whom she shares a son, Robin.
Meanwhile, talking about Bigg Boss 18, in the upcoming episode, the viewers will see renowned personalities like filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Journalist Shweta Singh and Saurabh Dwivedi entering the show to uncover contestant’s true selves.
This week’s nominated contestant list includes Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar and Sara Arfeen Khan. Eisha Singh, the Time God, was given a chance to save her favourite contestants from nomination. Taking advantage of the opportunity, she defended her friends Vivian DSena, Avinash Mishra and new wild card entrant, Yamini Malhotra.
