The objective of the program was to sensitize women and girls on important issues like their rights, education, health, sports and security. In the program, the District Magistrate honored 20 women officers and employees who made excellent contributions towards women empowerment and welfare of children by giving them citations. These included officials from Women’s Welfare Department, Police, Health, Education, Child Development and Nutrition Department.
