A part of FNG in Noida. Whose construction has been completed. This road will further go to Faridabad via Yamuna Bridge.
Brainstorming has started again on the plan to connect the three cities. The plan is for Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway. 70 percent work of its 17 km stretch in Noida has been completed.
.
To connect it to Ghaziabad, a rotary will be built on NL-9 and it will be connected to the elevated building at Chhijarasi. A bridge will be constructed on Sector-168 Yamuna to connect it to Faridabad. Noida Authority and Haryana Government will bear the cost of bridge construction 50-50 percent.
A lot remains to be done from Faridabad side. After the bridge, land has to be taken from farmers for the approach road. In such a situation, recently a meeting was held between Noida Authority and PWD officials.
In this, this expressway offered by Haryana Government should be built by NHAI. Efforts have been started for this. Let us tell you that Noida Authority has also been continuously corresponding since 2015 to hand over the expressway to NHAI.
FNG will be passed from here by building an underpass under this expressway.
But NHAI did not agree. Overall only 20 percent work of Express has been completed. However, it will still cost around Rs 1500 crore to complete this entire project. The problem here is that NHAI builds only the roads connecting NH to NH. However, this time the initiative has come from the Haryana government.
14 meter high bridge will be built on Yamuna In the meeting, the bridge to be built on Yamuna and the alignment of the road connecting to it was discussed. Accordingly, Noida Authority will build a road in its area connecting the bridge to be built on Yamuna. The officials there said that the detailed project report of the bridge to be built on Yamuna and other works has been prepared.
It has been sent for approval. After this further process will take place. The bridge to be built on Yamuna will be at a height of about 14 meters from the ground. The height of the road connecting it will also be considerable. The bridge to be built on Yamuna is estimated to cost Rs 200 to 250 crore.
