During this time, cases of their attacking also keep coming to light. A video has surfaced from Bhanar village of Bageshwar, in which a bear and two cubs were seen coming towards the population. The nearby villagers got scared after seeing the bear and started worrying about the villagers who had gone to the forest. They created an uproar and chased the bear and the cubs towards the forest. The villagers have informed the forest department about this.
Bhanar village resident Darpan Singh told Local 18 that even before this the bear had attacked three people of the village, in which they were badly injured and the reappearance of the bear these days is worrying. In such a situation, the villagers who bring fodder and graze their pet animals in the village forest are also in danger. Somehow, the bear and two cubs were chased away towards the forest. The villagers themselves have made this video. Ranger Pradeep Kandpal of Dharamdhar Forest Range says that after the matter came to notice, the patrolling of forest personnel has been increased in the area. Villagers have been asked to be careful. He said that these days usually wild animals come out of the forest for sunlight.
All three villages are in danger from bears
Villager Chanchal Singh told that even before this the bear had been seen many times in the area. The villagers of Bhanar, Basti and Chucher are in danger due to the sighting of the bear. The people of these three villages are in panic after the sighting of the bear because the people of these villages go to the forest around the village daily for fodder. Where the bear has also set up his camp. Apart from this, villagers also go to the forest to hunt their pets, they too may be in danger from bears.
