The shadow of his mother had already passed away and now his father also passed away. In this situation the lives of the children changed completely. Earlier he was raised by his father’s hard work but now he has become completely destitute. After social media and his story went viral, now helping hands have started increasing and there is hope for some improvement.
Anyone will have tears in their eyes after listening to the story of three helpless children of Khainuri village located in Dasholi development block of Chamoli district. After the video of his story went viral on social media, now everyone is coming forward to help him. After the matter came to light, on the initiative of Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari, the administration team reached to meet the helpless children and assured them of all possible help. After which Rs 8000 per month will be given under the sponsorship scheme for the maintenance of children.
After mother’s death, illness took away father’s shadow.
His mother died when the children were young. Last October, his father Nain Singh also died due to illness. After which all three children became orphans. After the death of her father, the responsibility of her brothers has fallen on Sanjana. Sanjana is studying 10th class in the government school of the same village. Also, his younger sister Sakshi is in 9th class and brother Ayush is studying in 4th class in the primary school of the same village.
Consent reached on living with a woman in the village itself
District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that the team of District Child Welfare Committee and Tehsil Administration Chamoli inquired about the condition of the three children and counseled them. The team agreed to keep the children with a woman from the village. The Tehsildar was directed to prepare income certificate and death certificate of Sanjana’s parents for sponsorship assistance given by the government to the children. After this, the children will be given a sponsorship of Rs 8000 per month for their maintenance. At the same time, food items will also be provided to the children by the tehsil administration.
