Illegal occupation of land worth Rs 24 lakh The illegal construction was done on government land (Gata No. 787 D and Soni’s area) near Pratibha Jagrati School. Its market price is said to be around Rs 24 lakh. Complaints about this occupation were being received for a long time, after which the administration took this action.
In the delivery of government land administration SDM Ramdev Nishad said that after removing the illegal encroachment, the land has been handed over to EO Anil Singh of Nagar Panchayat Nawabganj. “The administration is committed to eliminating illegal encroachments and ensuring security of government property,” he said.
Action will continue further Nagar Panchayat EO Anil Singh clarified that such action against illegal construction will continue in future also. He said, “There will be a complete ban on illegal occupations in the city, so that government property can be properly utilized.” The police and administration maintained strong security by maintaining full vigilance during the operation. Special arrangements were made to avoid any untoward incident.
