Police caught the accused youth who raped a girl on the pretext of marriage in Ayodhya. According to the information received, a young man resident of Rasoolpur village of Raunahi police station area used to come to his sister-in-law’s house in a village of Inayat Nagar police station area.

During this time, his love affair started with a village girl. On the pretext of marriage, the young man kept raping her and later refused to marry her. After which the victim girl gave a complaint to Inayat Nagar Police on September 19 and registered a case under relevant sections.
After the case was registered, the police was searching for the accused. The informer gave it to inspector in-charge Devendra Pandey. As soon as the information was received, Sub Inspector Amar Bahadur Patel, Head Constable Manish Tiwari, Anshu Tiwari arrested Usru from near Amouna Canal and brought him to the police station, where after taking legal action, he was presented in the court from where he was sent to jail.
Sub Inspector Amar Bahadur Patel said that the accused youth Ashish Kumar Yadav had gone missing after the case was registered. Raids were being conducted for his arrest. Today he was arrested after two months.
