This year proved to be particularly challenging for her, as the actress in June revealed that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite the hardships, Hina faced the journey with unwavering determination. Throughout her treatment, she remained committed to her work. She attended fashion weeks, appeared on reality shows and fulfilled her professional responsibilities.
Following the news of her being one of 2024’s most searched actors, Hina Khan took to her Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of an article. However, in her note, she wrote, “I see a lot of people putting up stories and congratulating me on this new development. But honestly, for me, it’s neither an achievement nor something to be proud of.”
Hina Khan expressed that she never wishes for anyone to be searched online due to their health struggles or diagnosis “I pray that no one should be googled because of their diagnosis or health-related hardships. I have always appreciated people’s genuine regard and respect for my journey in these testing times,” Hina added before emphasising that she’d rather be known for her work and achievement.
“I would rather be googled or known or acknowledged for my work or achievements. Just like I have been before and during my diagnosis,” Hina Khan concluded.
In addition to Hina Khan, other celebrities who captured significant attention in 2024’s most-searched list include Pawan Kalyan and Nimrat Kaur.
Despite the challenges, Hina Khan has remained strong and positive throughout the year. Just days ago, she shared a post reflecting on her journey. In it, Hina mentioned that the last 15-20 days were the toughest, but she fought through them. Hina wrote, “To get through all the Pain n much much more, I have to find the balance to continue the cycle of Positively with deliberate Smiles in the hopes that real Joy would naturally Follow. And it did.” She finally expressed gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support and love during this period.
