Almora: Padmashree Yashodhar Mathpal needs no introduction today. He has reached Almora district of Uttarakhand to teach the qualities of painting to school children. He shared his experiences with the students of Sharda Public School, Almora. He saw the paintings made by the children and told the children what they could do better in the painting.
Apart from this, the children also asked him many questions related to painting. He also told the children about normal and 3D painting and how they can work in painting in future. This workshop will run for three days in which children can learn many things from him.

Padmashree Yashodhar Mathpal, while talking to Local 18, said that a lot of good work is being done by the school children. Children have made different types of pictures. He saw different types of styles and genres in these paintings. Children have made paintings using pencil and water color, which is revealing their talent. Traditional art can also be seen in children’s painting.
He was very happy to see that the children were doing excellent work in painting. He told the children that if they want to work in this field, they will have to take out time for it. For this it is necessary to practice continuously. If children work hard from now on, they can do very well in painting.

Student Srishti told that she learned how to concentrate from Yashodhar Mathpal ji who came to the school. He also told how you can practice painting. This is a subject in which you have to work continuously, every day you learn something new. She also said that painting is her hobby, but she paints only occasionally. Srishti said that Yashodhar sir told that you should try to learn something new every day.

Student Akshat told that Padmashree Yashodhar Mathpal shared his life experiences and also gave information related to painting. He told that painting has been going on not from today but from thousands of years ago. Earlier the painting was made on sandstone, whereas today it is made in paper work. Yashodhar sir said that there is an artist hidden inside every person, who just needs to be discovered.
