Dehradun. Sohan Das of Uttarakhand imitates Prime Minister Narendra Modi exactly. After listening to this you will not feel that this is not the voice of PM Modi. Sohan Das, who reached a talent show to be organized in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, while talking to Local 18, said that he is originally from Uttarkashi district. He could not see properly since childhood. When he grew up a little and his eyes were examined, it was found that he could see only 20 to 25 percent. Doctors told him that whatever vision he has, he has to preserve it. This is the reason why they do not see much.
He said that even though nature may not have given him complete eyesight, it has given him a talent with which he surprises everyone and that is mimicry. When Sohan recites some excerpts from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, people look at him with surprise because his voice sounds exactly like PM Modi’s. He also mimics many stars. He also likes to do cricket commentary. After graduation, he also did a journalism course. Sohan has created his own YouTube channel, on which he also interviews many people. He keeps uploading videos of vlogs, mimicry and interviews.
Country’s first blind journalist Sohan Das!
Sohan Das can also be called the first blind journalist of the country. He told that once a cricket tournament was organized by MCA in Mumbai, in which I was made a part of the management of Delhi. It was an event for blind people only, in which I got a chance to do cricket commentary for two to three days. He did commentary with TV serial actor and All India Radio cricket commentator Sunil Vaidya.
I felt like mimicry after seeing Abhay Kumar Sharma
Sohan said that he likes to make people laugh. Once when he had gone to Jammu and Kashmir, he saw and heard Abhay Kumar Sharma doing mimicry, so he developed a passion for mimicry and then he started preparing himself for it. Abhay Kumar Sharma is also blind, who has made people laugh in the Laughter Challenge. Sohan considers him as his idol.
