New DelhiVeteran actor Mukesh Khanna is famous for the role of Bhishma Pitamah in the TV serial ‘Mahabharata’. He is also known for his outspokenness. Recently he took on comedian Kapil Sharma. Mukesh Khanna also revealed why he never became a part of Kapil Sharma’s show. He says that the makers of Kapil Sharma Show never contacted him and even if he was ever invited to the show, he would have immediately refused.
In an interview given to Siddharth Kannan, Mukesh Khanna said, ‘I don’t know what his problem was, but he never contacted me. Somewhere ego comes in between, somewhere shame comes in between. Goofy Pental called me and said that the actors of Ramayana have been called in Kapil Sharma, I think we will also be called. Then the same thing happened, the actors of Mahabharata were called but I did not go. I see obscenity in Kapil Sharma show. His dialogues have double meaning. I don’t see decency in the show. I said I will not go to that show.
