Rishikesh. Abhay Priya Dogra, a resident of Punjab, has set an example with his courage and confidence. Abhay is physically handicapped and walks on a wheelchair. Recently he had come to visit Rishikesh in Uttarakhand with his family. During the trip, when he saw a spot for bungee jumping near Shivpuri, he expressed his desire to do this adventurous activity. At first his family members were a little hesitant considering his physical condition, but seeing Abhay’s determination and passion, they encouraged him. This decision of Abhay surprised not only his family but also the people and trainers around him.
To do bungee jumping, Abhay reached the bungee point in his wheelchair. Seeing his courage, the trainers also decided to help him. Bungee jumping from a height of 117 meters with the help of a wheelchair was not easy, but Abhay did not let it deter him from his limitations. When he jumped, everyone present there was stunned to see his bravery. Abhay Priya Dogra looked very happy and excited after bungee jumping. He said that even though he is disabled in his legs, his courage and self-confidence gave him the courage to fly. His decision has given a new inspiration not only to him but to all those disabled people who want to fulfill their dreams.
The real flight is not with wings but with courage.
