Amid a spate of speculations and conspiracy theories over drones spotted above New Jersey, state senator Jon Bramnick said the feds are hiding the truth about the drones because they are scared of the reaction of the public if they come clean about these. Bramnick said the government is calling them harmless and the public reaction ‘overreaction’ because they don’t want the public to know the truth.
What’s the truth then? The senator said there “must be something going on” because it’s not possible that the Department of Defense does not know what’s going on. “Why would the government allow the public to be so frustrated? Why would the government allow a United States senator to be so frustrated? We heard this from both sides of the aisle,” he said.
President-elect Donald Trump spoke out about the mystery sighting and called for shooting those mystery drones down. “Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!! DJT,” he posted on Truth Social.
Why nothing is known about the mystery drones hovering over New Jersey
Because the administration has so far dismissed claims that what people are seeing are actually drones. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas told ABC News on Sunday, “there’s no question that people are seeing drones”. At best, they might be manned aircraft, the govt believes.
Drones are not banned in New Jersey but only for recreational purpose and those who saw the drones claimed that they are as big as cars.
Senator Andy Kim went out on a drone patrol and sheriff Michael Mastronadry sent out his own drone to bust the mystery but they could not be sure of what they saw — whether those were planes or not.
Mike Fraietta, an FAA drone pilot and founder of Gargoyle Systems, told NewsNation that most reported sightings are likely manned aircraft or authorized military tests. This triggered speculations that maybe these drones are part of some classified operation of the Biden administration.
