Retro reflectors installed in 69 vehicles
On Monday, the traffic police installed retro reflectors in 69 vehicles. CO Traffic Police Raghuraj said that the possibility of road accidents increases in cold weather. Therefore, retro reflectors are being installed in vehicles to increase visibility and reduce accidents.
Advisory and fine for drivers
CO Raghuraj said that due to cold and fog the visibility of vehicles reduces, hence instructions have been given to install retro reflectors in all commercial vehicles. If reflector tape is not installed on any commercial vehicle, it will be fined. It has been made mandatory to use reflector tape of white color at the front and yellow color at the back. This reflector proves to be helpful in reducing accidents during fog as it makes the vehicle visible from a distance.
