Crowd gathered at Shubham Hospital after the death of 17 year old girl in Varanasi.
A teenage girl died during treatment in a hospital in Varanasi on Saturday night. When there was no relief even after three days of treatment, the hospital admitted the patient to the ICU, handed over the bill and declared him dead after a few hours.

After receiving information about the daughter’s death, family members and local people reached the hospital and created a ruckus. Expressed displeasure with the doctors and hospital management. There was a lot of altercation between the family members who came to lodge the complaint and the hospital staff.
After receiving the information, the police also reached the spot and pacified both the parties. The family members gave a written complaint to the police late at night demanding action against the hospital management. After this the family members got the Panchnama of the dead body filled.

Pushpanjali Gupta, 17 year old daughter of Arvind Kumar Gupta, resident of Koniya Vijay Nagar of Jaitpura police station area, had fever three days ago. Maqbool brought him to Shubham Hospital on Alam Road and after being admitted for the day, took him home after recovering.
Even at home, his fever kept rising and falling, due to which the doctors gave him medicine and prescribed several tests. After this, after the investigation report came, the father again took his daughter to the hospital on Friday evening.
He consulted senior doctor of the hospital, Dr. A. Showed to Z. Ansari, seeing the serious condition of the girl, the doctors admitted her and started treatment. After some time his condition started deteriorating.
In the last 24 hours, a bill of thousands had been incurred due to continuous tests and medicines. On Saturday afternoon, the doctors of Shubham Hospital cited that the medicine was not working for the last 24 hours and the condition was worsening.
Along with treatment, he was asked to admit the patient in the ICU ward, after depositing the fee separately, he was shifted to the ward. Pushpanjali was kept in ICU at 4 pm.
The deceased’s father Arvind Kumar Gupta accused the hospital of negligence.

The deceased’s father Arvind Kumar Gupta alleges that after 6 o’clock the doctors came on rounds in the ICU of Shubham Hospital and deposited Rs 40 thousand. After some time, during investigation, the girl was reported dead.
The family lost their temper after the news of the girl’s death in the hospital late in the evening. Seeing the dead body, the crying family members made serious allegations against the hospital and created ruckus in the hospital premises. On information, the police team from Orderly Bazaar outpost reached the spot and pacified the matter.
