The woman who was burnt in the fire in Konch of Jalaun died in Jhansi Medical College on Sunday. On the day of Dhanteras, her maxi caught fire from a lamp. The name of the deceased was Kanchan Agarwal (45), wife of Ajay Agarwal. She was a resident of Patel Nagar, Konch. Family members told that on the day of Dhanteras, Kanchan’s maxi had caught fire from a lamp. After the fire, Kanchan ran outside screaming. Hearing the sound, husband Ajay Aggarwal and two sons Prafulla and Karthik also started extinguishing the fire. The fire was brought under control after a few days.
Kanchan and her husband were badly burnt in the incident, while the hands of both the sons were burnt. All four were referred to Jhansi Medical College. Kanchan died today during treatment. While the husband is undergoing treatment in the medical college and both the sons are undergoing treatment in the private hospital. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the house after Kanchan’s death. Husband Ajay Aggarwal works as an accountant for a businessman.
