Two police teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
On Sunday, he was shot by unknown miscreants riding a bike in Iglas police station area of Aligarh. The elderly had gone out of their house for a walk, during which the attackers surrounded them near Karvan River on Mathura Road. After surrounding the old man, the accused opened fire.

The bullet hit the old man, due to which he got injured and fell on the ground. Hearing the sound of gunshot, nearby people reached there, after which the accused fled from the spot. The police admitted the elderly man to CHC Iglas, from where he was referred to the medical college. The elderly man is undergoing medical treatment and his condition is critical.
Miscreants shot in land dispute
Padam Singh (62), son of Nirupam Singh, resident of Sankaranand Puri Colony of Iglas, had gone out for a walk from his house on Sunday morning. He had reached near the Karban river, some distance away from his house, when he was attacked. The condition of the elderly is still critical and he is undergoing treatment.
The police said that the family members of the old man told that he was having a land dispute with some people. Due to which he was also receiving threats. Now the same people have attacked the old man. After which the police has started investigating the matter and nearby CCTV cameras are being watched. So that the accused can be identified.
Two teams formed for arrest
After the incident, the police took a complaint from the victim’s family and registered a case. On the other hand, raids have also been started in search of the accused. Three teams have been formed to arrest the accused, so that the incident can be revealed as soon as possible.
CO Iglas Rajeev Dwivedi said that preliminary investigation has revealed a land dispute. The matter is being investigated and three teams have been formed to uncover the incident. Soon the accused will be in police custody.
