Honda Cars India today (October 4) has released the teaser of the third generation model of the popular sedan Amaze. The front of the subcompact sedan has been revealed in a teaser image shared on social media. The car will come with a new front look and advanced safety features.
Prices of the new generation Honda Amaze are expected to start from Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the new generation Maruti Dezire to be launched on November 11. Apart from this, it will also compete with Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
Sleek LED headlight will be available like Elevate The front look of Amaze is shown in the teaser. It has sharp styling lines and hexagonal grill. There are sleek LED headlights with LED DRL on both sides, which look like the Honda Elevate SUV. At the same time, the fog lamps are at their place.
Apart from this, the company has not shared any information about the rear profile and interior design, but it is expected that it will have new alloy wheels and changes will also be made in the rear bumper and tail lights.
Can get 6 airbags standard and ADAS Honda has not yet revealed the cabin of the new generation Amaze, but we expect it to get a new dashboard layout and a new cabin theme. New features like large touchscreen, wireless phone charger and single-pane sunroof can be found in Amaze.
For safety, the car can also be provided with 6 airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Advanced Driving Assist System (ADAS) with a rear view camera.
Performance: Amaze gives mileage of 18.6 kmpl Mechanical changes are hardly visible in Honda Amaze. The car currently comes with a 1.2 liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 87.7hp power and 110Nm torque.
For transmission, this engine has the option of 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Amaze will come only with petrol engine, because the company has stopped making diesel engines. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 18.6 kmpl.
