Former MP Maneka Gandhi while talking to the media said that buffalo fighting was stopped earlier. If it starts again, then after talking to the authorities, the organizers will be sent to jail. Animal fighting is completely banned. The court has also banned it.
In fact, the court had banned such animal fights in the name of tradition. The Cantt Police has told the media that they had no information about such an event.
It is also said that the organizers had changed the venue and organized the buffalo fight at some other place. In which many animals are reported injured. However, the organizers have denied that any animal was injured in the incident.

A team will be formed to investigate
Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Megh Shyam has said that a team will be formed for investigation on Monday. This team will go to the spot and examine the buffaloes. If any buffalo is found injured then action will be taken. The organizers will be given notice and asked to stop this in future. Even after this, if the event takes place, we will take action.

Lekhpal told in the report given to the administration that a buffalo fight was organized in Gokul Nagari, Sadar Bazar on November 2 between 12:30 pm and 3 pm.
