This festival lasts for four days, in which Surya and Chhathi Maiya are worshipped. The fast observed on this day is considered very difficult, as it is observed for 36 hours following strict rules. On the third day, women will offer evening arghya, while on the fourth day, fasting women and men will gather at dawn at the same place where the puja was performed for the setting sun.
