Ramnagar: The Almora bus accident in Uttarakhand has shocked the entire state. 36 people died tragically in this accident. This accident also took away her parents from 3 year old Shivani. Shivani was seriously injured, fortunately her life was saved. Whereas his parents died tragically in the accident. Shivani, badly injured in the accident and soaked in blood, was brought to Ramdutt Joshi Government Joint Hospital in Ramnagar along with other injured people. Here, during the treatment, she kept searching for her parents and kept shouting mom and dad again and again. Seeing this, the eyes of the people there also filled with tears.
were returning after celebrating Diwali
According to the information, Shivani Rawat, a resident of Birkhet of Digolikhal in Pauri Garhwal, had come to the village with her father Manoj Rawat and mother Charu Devi to celebrate the festival of Diwali. These people were going to Ramnagar in a bus after celebrating Diwali from the village, when the bus met with an accident on the way. Shivani’s father and mother died in this accident. Whereas, innocent Shivani Rawat was seriously injured. Shivani has suffered serious injuries. After which, considering his serious condition, he was airlifted and sent to AIIMS Rishikesh.
Father worked in the horticulture department
Shivani Rawat’s family member Madanmohan Singh Rawat told that Shivani Rawat’s father Manoj Rawat was working in the Horticulture Department in Ramnagar. Whereas, mother Charu Devi was a housewife. Now an uncle and grandmother are present in Shivani Rawat’s house. Meanwhile, on receiving information about the accident, Shivani Rawat’s maternal grandfather has also left for AIIMS Rishikesh. Apart from Shivani, the lamps in the houses of many families were extinguished in this accident.
The accident happened on Monday
Last Monday at around 8:45 am, bus number UK 12 PA 0061 of Garhwal Motor Owners Union Limited met with an accident near Maschula (Marchula) on Kupi motor road under Salt tehsil of Almora. In this accident, 28 people died on the spot. Whereas, 8 people died during treatment in the hospital. There are 27 injured people who are undergoing treatment in different hospitals. This accident happened due to overloading. And the bus fell straight into a 150 feet deep gorge.
