Srinagar Garhwal. These days the atmosphere is heated regarding the recruitment of postal servants in Uttarakhand. These days, many such cases related to new postal servants have come to light in Uttarakhand, which shows that these postal servants do not even have general knowledge of Hindi and mathematics. These Dak Sevaks have been selected on the basis of 10th class merit and most of the Dak Sevaks have 90 percent marks in 10th. A similar case has come to light from Pauri district, where a candidate selected for the post of a postal servant could not even write Hindi correctly, even though he had 95 marks in Hindi.
According to the information, when a young man who came from Haryana was asked to write an application form in Hindi for appointment to the post of Post Master, the employees of the department were shocked to see his Hindi. This young man had passed the high school examination from Haryana Board in 2021 and had obtained 95 marks in Hindi subject in the examination result. Now the entire selection process has come under question. It is noteworthy that a few days ago, fake documents of two such postal servants were found in Pauri, whose appointment was cancelled. Apart from this, two postal servants had fled from there in the name of getting the photocopy of the document.
When the selected post master was asked by Postal Superintendent Pauri to write an application form, it took him half an hour to write just one application form. On top of that, there were so many mistakes in the application form that the reader would forget to read Hindi. Superintendent was written as ‘Adishay’, Sir as ‘Mekavya’, Post Office as ‘Dhakghar’ and Pauri as ‘Patti’. After seeing this, the postal department employees asked him to write the digits in Hindi. Then he wrote 1500 as ‘Padrasai’, 2750 as ‘Sataise’, 3531 as ‘Teen Hazara Panse Katis’ and 250 as ‘Dhairau’.
Could not write application form in Hindi
Postal Superintendent Pauri Deepak Sharma said that the youth hailing from Haryana was selected for the post of branch postmaster in Garhkot branch post office located in Silogi sub post office of Pauri district. He told that the newly selected branch postmaster has not been able to write the application form in Hindi nor has he been able to write the numbers in Hindi, whereas the work in the postal department is done in Hindi language. He said that a report regarding this matter has been sent to Circle Dehradun. Further action will be taken only after the guidelines of higher officials regarding the posting of the selected branch postmaster.
Is the educational document correct?
The youth has passed the high school examination from Haryana Board in 2021 and has got 95-95 marks in Hindi, English, 90-90 marks in Mathematics and Social Science and 100-100 marks in Science and Physical and Health Education. However, preliminary investigation of the youth’s educational documents has been found to be correct.
