Srinagar Garhwal. If any work is done with full dedication and will power, then success is certain. Pushp Vatika women self-help group of Pauri district has done something similar. This group has planted flower plants at those places in Pauri where people often throw garbage. The women of the group chose several garbage dumping sites and places around the district hospital, near TRH and planted flower saplings there. The flower plants planted by the group have now started giving flowers, due to which Pauri has started smelling. Now the people of the city are also feeling the impact of the hard work of the Pushp Vatika Group, and they are becoming aware of maintaining the cleanliness of these places. This initiative of the self-help group has not only decorated Pauri city beautifully, but is also giving a new message to the people regarding cleanliness.
State activist Bira Bhandari, associated with a self-help group, told Local 18 that initially they conducted a cleanliness drive in 12 wards of Pauri. After this, the bushes in the city where people used to throw garbage were cut and flower saplings were planted.
