Almora: 36 people lost their lives while 27 others were injured in a road accident that took place last Monday morning in Marchula of Salt development block of Almora district of Uttarakhand. This accident happened when people were returning from their homes after the Diwali festival. A couple was also involved in this accident, whose last picture and journey became this accident.
Couple Praveen and Soni were returning after Diwali. Praveen Singh and his wife Soni were going from their village Digoli (Mulgaon) to Ramnagar after celebrating Diwali. According to their friend Himanshu, the couple had shifted to Delhi some time ago and were going for some work in Dehradun, after which they had to go back to Delhi. Before this journey, they had also taken a photo together, but they did not know that this would be their last photo. Praveen and Soni were also traveling in the bus that fell into the coupe band.
Software engineer and pharmacist’s dream unfulfilled
Praveen was a software engineer, while Soni had done a pharmacist course. His friend Himanshu told that both of their lives were going on happily and their future was bright, but this accident ended everything. Himanshu is deeply shocked by the death of his friend and his wife, and he will always keep it in his memories.
