Traders submitting memorandum to Deputy CM
Sandeep Bansal said that 36 lakh traders are registered in the state. To protect their rights, it is necessary to elect 6 Legislative Council members from the state on the lines of teacher-graduate constituency. He said that traders should get proper representation in the Assembly so that their issues can be raised in a powerful manner.
The complex process of GST should be ended
Sandeep Bansal also expressed concern over the harassment of traders and raised the demand to end the complex process. He talked about taking this important issue to the Prime Minister. Bansal said that today the businessman has become like a Babu in the matter of GST. While time is being wasted due to this, business is also getting ruined.
Demand to declare National Traders Day
National President Sandeep Bansal, through Deputy CM, raised the demand from the Central Government to declare National Traders Day across the country on the lines of Uttar Pradesh. He also asked to create a system of GST slab with higher rate on luxury items and lower rate on daily consumption items. Traders also urged to join Ayushman Bharat scheme and said that all registered traders should take advantage of this scheme so that their health issues can also be given priority.
Government should establish disaster relief fund
Sandeep Bansal raised the demand of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak to set up a disaster relief fund. Traders said that in case of any disaster or accident, if a businessman’s shop gets burnt or his business gets affected, then the government should help through special relief fund.
Deputy CM agreed to the demands
Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak agreed to almost all the demands of the traders and said that he will take these issues to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister. He said that whatever be the problem, whether it is related to Municipal Corporation or business activities, I will fully support the business community on all issues.
