Patna: The last rites of Bihar’s nightingale Sharda Sinha will be performed this morning. Sharda Sinha’s last rites will be performed at Gulbi Ghat in Patna. Sharda Sinha’s mortal remains were kept for last darshan at her residence in Rajendra Nagar, Patna on Wednesday. When Sharda Sinha’s mortal remains reached her residence, there was a huge crowd of people gathered for the last darshan. Meanwhile, along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, many ministers of Bihar government had reached the residence to offer floral tributes.
Let us tell you that folk singer Sharda Sinha died last Tuesday night at 9.20 pm. Sharda Sinha was admitted in AIIMS Hospital, Delhi for about 15 days. Sharda Sinha was suffering from a particular disease for a long time. Crores of people became saddened after hearing the news of Sharda Sinha’s demise. Many senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Nitish Kumar, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, CM Yogi Adityanath had paid tribute by tweeting. Apart from this, people from the entertainment world also tweeted and paid tribute.
Sharda Sinha is known for Chhath, marital and folk songs. Sharda Sinha sang many Chhath songs, which people liked very much. Even in the last days of her life, Sharda Sinha released a Chhath song, which people are liking very much. Sharda Sinha’s husband also passed away recently. Sharda Sinha has received many honors like Padmashree, Padmabhushan and Swar Kokila of Bihar.
