New Delhi. The festive season is about to begin in the country and vehicle companies have also started preparations for it. Meanwhile, TVS Motor has announced a tremendous offer for new customers. The company has reduced the price of the base variant of its modern retro bike Ronin by Rs 15,000. The ex-showroom price of this base variant of Ronin now starts from Rs 1.35 lakh.
TVS Ronin is available in 4 variants – SS, DS, TD and TD Special Edition. Of the four, only the base SS variant has been reduced in price. This price cut makes the Ronin SS even more attractive, especially considering that the next variant in the lineup, the DS, starts at Rs 1.57 lakh.
There is competition with these bikes
If we talk about rivals, TVS Ronin is facing tough competition from Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It is clear from the price cut that the company wants to make this bike more affordable for the customers so that the sales of Ronin can increase in comparison to Hunter 350. With the price revision, TVS will definitely hope to lure some potential buyers of the Hunter 350 to its showrooms.
the engine is powerful
Talking about TVS Ronin, it has an air/oil-cooled, 225.9cc, single-cylinder engine which generates 20.4hp at 7,750rpm and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3,750rpm. This motor has a 5-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch. With a 14 liter fuel tank, the Ronin weighs 160 kg.
Its base SS variant also gets features like fully digital display, all-LED lighting, adjustable brake and clutch lever and USD fork.
