New Delhi. Revolt Motors has launched its two affordable electric motorcycles RV1 and RV 1 Plus in India. The price of RV1 has been fixed at Rs 74,990 and the price of RV 1 Plus has been fixed at Rs 83,790 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Although this electric motorcycle will compete with Oben Ror and other electric motorcycle models in its segment, but it is also being considered as a challenge for Hero Splendor in the Indian market. This electric bike has been launched at a lower price than Splendor. Let us tell you that the ex-showroom price of Hero Splendor starts from Rs 76,156.
The RV1 range features similar bodywork to the existing RV400, but has a different front end. The RV1 gets round LED headlights, which give it a retro-theme and give it a more commuter-centric look. Revolt RV1 has been introduced in many colors. Let us know all its features and details.
Battery, range and charging time
Revolt RV1 can be purchased with 2.2kWh battery or 3.24kWh battery. The smaller battery offers a range of 100 kilometers while the larger unit offers a range of 160 kilometers. However, the maximum speed of both is limited to 70 km per hour. Due to different battery capacities, the charging time of both is also different. The standard model RV1 takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to be fully charged, while the RV1 Plus gets fully charged in 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Get multiple ride modes
Revolt has introduced the bike with LED headlight, LCD, ride mode and fast charging facility. Hardware on the RV1 includes telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the rear. It has front and rear disc brake setup mounted on alloy wheels. In Revolt’s RV1 lineup, the company has given the option of traditional chain drive instead of belt drive system.
