Arghya offered at a special ghat in the premises of 62nd Corps Chhath Mahaparva is a major and sacred festival of Hindu religion, which is especially celebrated to worship the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya. All the devotees observed a ritual fast and offered Arghya to the Sun God at the special ghat built in the premises of the 62nd Corps. This event promoted respect for Indian culture and a sense of collective unity among the soldiers.
Commandant congratulated, told the importance of the event Vahini Commandant Ravindra Kumar Rajeshwari congratulated all the soldiers and their families present on the occasion. He said, “Chhath Mahaparva is a living example of Indian culture and tradition. Through this festival, we promote the feeling of unity and spirituality among our soldiers.”
Organization of worship and bhajan-kirtan On this occasion, all the devotees also organized worship and bhajan-kirtan, in which everyone participated with great enthusiasm. After the completion of the religious rituals, Prasad distribution was also organised.
