Foswal Literature Festival is being organized by the Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature from 10th to 13th November at the Academy of Fine Arts and Literature campus, Delhi. There will be a poetry conference of poets from SAARC countries for four days in the festival.
Dev Prakash Choudhary, Vice President of Academy of Fine Arts and Literature, Delhi, on behalf of the Chairperson of the Foundation, has invited him for a poetry reading on 13th November. According to Dev Prakash Chaudhary, November 13 has been kept for poetry recitation of Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi poets.
The ‘SAARC’ nation group includes India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka. This festival is also considered important from the point of view of exchange of literature and culture of SAARC member countries and mutual coordination of different languages. Dr. Virendra Azam told that he has sent his consent for poetry recitation in the festival.
