A major smuggling attempt was foiled by Ballia’s Narhi police. Acting on the information received from the informer, the police arrested three smugglers along with 11 camels loaded in a DCM during checking near Nasirpur Math.

These camels were being taken for smuggling. The names of the arrested accused were Shan Mohammad, Dilshad, and Sunil Qureshi. Who belonged to different districts. The police registered a case against smuggling under relevant sections, produced the accused in the court and sent them to jail.
Apart from this, Narhi police also arrested Hanuman Sahni, wanted accused of animal smuggling. With such quick and effective action, the police broke the smuggling network and ensured the safety of the animals. It is proving helpful in preventing crimes like animal smuggling.
