Srinagar Garhwal. Shahbaz Mirza, who works as a barber in Paithani in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, made an obscene video of a local girl by luring her into his love trap. After which Shahbaz posted the video on social media. After the video went viral, the accused and the girl fled from the house. The girl was recovered from Kotdwar. There was huge anger among the local people after this incident. Angry people protested by closing Paithani market. The police have arrested the accused. The case is being investigated.
According to the information received, Shahbaz Mirza, who works as a barber in Paithani market, trapped the daughter of his landlord’s relative in his love trap. He made an obscene video of the girl, which he posted on social media. When the girl got wind of this, both the girl and the young man ran away leaving Paithani. After the matter came to the notice of the local people, people created a huge uproar by closing the Paithani market. In protest, local traders closed their establishments and staged a protest in Paithani market. Hindutva leader Lakhpat Singh Bhandari also reached Paithani and appealed to the local people not to rent houses and shops to people of a particular community. He said that such incidents are continuously coming to light throughout Garhwal. People will have to be alert to protect themselves from such incidents.
Accused Shahbaz Mirza arrested from Bijnor
The police have registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s brother-in-law and arrested the accused. Pauri Garhwal SSP Lokeshwar Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused Shahbaz Mirza under the IT Act. He has been arrested from Bijnor. Also, the girl was recovered safely from Kotdwar. Shahbaz has been produced in the court and sent to jail. The SSP appealed to the local people to maintain restraint and harmony.
