This new bike from Jawa will steal hearts, even Bullet riders will look back, book for just Rs 942

New Delhi. Jawa bike manufacturing company Classic Legends has launched Jawa 42 FJ bike in the Indian market. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, the starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 1.99 lakh. Whereas the price of its top model is Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the regular Jawa 42, this bike is costlier by approximately Rs 26,000. The company has started its pre-booking, it can be booked from the company’s official website for just Rs 942.

Jawa 42 FJ has been introduced in a completely fresh design and look but the company has retained its retro DNA. Talking about design, the company has given it a modern-retro look. A tear drop shaped fuel tank with aluminum plate is provided on its side. The side panel is similar to that of the Jawa 42, which has been designed keeping in mind the history of the brand. The fenders are also quite cleanly styled, with the Jawa tail lights emerging from the rear fender. The matte black finish given on the engine, alloy wheels and silencer gives it a very mature feel. Because of its new paint scheme, this bike looks more premium than before.

How is the engine power and performance?
In this motorcycle, the company has used a large 334 cc capacity liquid-cooled single cylinder engine, which generates power of 29.1 bhp and torque of 29.6 Nm. This engine has been equipped with 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch technology. This engine generates 2 bhp more power than the regular Jawa 42. Overall, this bike can be a good option on the basis of looks, design and performance as per the claims of the company.

Talking about the features, the bike has LED lights, USB charging port and single-pod, digital instrument cluster. Steel chassis has been used in the bike which has been equipped with suspension like 41 mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. For braking, 320 mm disc brake has been used at the front and disc brake at the rear.

The total weight of Jawa 42 FJ is 184 kg, while its seat height is 790 mm. This means that even people of average height can ride this bike easily. It has a ground clearance of 178 mm. This bike is almost 2 kg heavier than the regular Jawa 42. Dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) is included as standard in this bike.

There will be direct competition with them
Now the competition in the 350cc-400cc segment is also becoming very exciting in the Indian market. Earlier, only Royal Enfield bikes were sold in this segment, but after the arrival of Honda, many companies like Jawa, Yezdi, Harley-Davidson and Benelli have launched their bikes in it. The new Jawa 42 FJ will basically compete with the bikes in the 350 cc segment. It will compete with Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda Highness 350, TVS Ronin and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 models.

Let us tell you that yesterday Royal Enfield has launched the new Classic 350. Whose starting price is Rs 1,99,500 and the price of the top model goes up to Rs 2,30,000 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The company has kept the price of booking the bike at Rs 942.
