In Varanasi, neighbors beat a pregnant woman fiercely over land dispute and traffic; the woman suffered serious injuries in the beating. A neighbor killed a pregnant woman’s baby by kicking her in the stomach. When she reached the hospital her condition deteriorated and she died.

A few hours after delivery, when the woman reached Sarnath police station with the body of the dead child, the police was seen misleading her. The police did not register a case after the woman complained repeatedly. After waiting for seven hours, Panchnama of the dead body was done on the instructions of top officials.
Malti Devi’s husband Sikandar, a resident of Saraimohana of Sarnath police station area, died due to illness a few years ago. After this, a dispute started with neighbors over a piece of land in the village. Neighbors Shamser, Rajesh, Shubham and Lallan often got entangled in old disputes and even fought many times.
Even on Saturday, Malti was sitting outside with her daughter-in-law Poonam, when the neighbors made some comments about her. After this, when Malti protested, everyone started fighting. His daughter-in-law Poonam suffered serious injuries in the beating. It is alleged that Shamser and Rajesh kicked and punched her in the stomach, causing injury to the child in the woman’s womb.
After her condition deteriorated due to the beating, the woman was immediately taken to the hospital, where her child was born, which the doctors declared dead after examination. After this, there was an uproar in the family, the grandmother reached the police station with the dead grandson’s body and kept pleading for hours for action.
Post mortem of the child was done after seven hours
Malti Devi filed a complaint with the police demanding action against the neighbors but no one listened to her at the police station. After this she also went to JCP and informed about the entire incident. After the intervention of top officials, the Panchnama of the body was filled and sent for post-mortem. However, no case has been registered against the attackers yet.
