HaldwaniPensioner elders will now be able to get life certificate made at home with one click. A special campaign has been started by the India Post Payments Bank (IPPV) of the Postal Department to create digital life certificates for pensioners. In which postmen will help them in certification. Postmaster Gaurav Joshi said that the department is providing the facility to pensioners to make life certificates at home. To avail this facility, you can contact the nearest post office or postman till 30th November. After which the postman will come home and prepare the life certificate.
How to register
Postmaster Gaurav Joshi of the Head Post Office said that if you want to avail this facility then you can avail it through Post Info App. You will have to download the app and file a service request. In which you will have to tell how to make life certificate sitting at home. After filing the request, the postman will reach your home.
Fee will be Rs 70
Postmaster Gaurav Joshi said that there will be a fee of Rs 70 for making the life certificate. Whether you call the postman at home or come to the post office yourself, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 70 to get the life certificate.
You can contact the nearest post office
Through this, all the pensioners of Central, State and Employees Provident Fund Organization will no longer need to go to the offices after obtaining the life certificate. Pensioners availing this service can contact the nearest post office or get information from the postman or Gramin Dak Sevak of their area.
There will be relief for pensioners
The postman will go to the given address of the pensioner and issue the digital life certificate through Aadhaar based biometric system. This service is simple and convenient for pensioners and is especially beneficial for those who are elderly or find it difficult to reach the office.
