Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma said that the 10-day long Uttarakhand Mahotsav in Lucknow leads to exchange of cultures. Uttarakhand Council deserves congratulations which has been organizing the festival in a grand manner for the last several years. Art, culture and business are all getting promoted in this festival. Uttarakhand is the land of gods. Every person who loves Indian culture has a desire to visit Uttarakhand. The journey to Charon Dham is not possible without Uttarakhand. Dinesh Sharma said that this is a message to all the people going to Uttarakhand that it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of this gift that nature has given us. Often people going there do such things as per their convenience due to which Uttarakhand is facing losses. People going from different corners of India including Lucknow should take special care of cleanliness and follow the rules on the mountain.

Uttarakhand Council President Harishchandra Pal said that he has been organizing this festival for the last several years. Every year the curiosity among people about Uttarakhand Mahotsav is increasing. The crowd of common people is increasing in the festival and the number of stalls is also increasing. He said that traders are getting a good platform through this festival. This year 200 stalls have been set up in Uttarakhand Mahotsav. Everything from food items to household needs are available at the festival. The economy is also getting strengthened by this festival.
