After killing Adarshran, Anshu and his associates threw the body in Sohagi Hills, Madhya Pradesh. When other accused were arrested after the murder, the secret was revealed. After this Anshu Gupta had absconded. Police and STF were searching for Anshu for two years. Based on accurate information, a siege was conducted on Sunday and he was nabbed.
Under the direction of Shailesh Pratap Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, STF Field Unit Prayagraj, Inspector Jai Prakash Rai along with the team made the arrest. Inspector JP Rai told that the arrested accused Anshu Gupta told during interrogation that Monu Saraswat resident of Bharti Bhawan police station and Nayan Vaishya, Sumit Chaurasia, we three are friends. Adarsh Kesarwani, a resident of Rani Mandi of the city, was doing many misdeeds. He used to harass Monu Saraswat’s wife Komal. After this a plan was made to murder him. Monu Saraswat and his wife Komal also supported. After this, on 01-04-2022, Adarsh was kidnapped and murdered and his body was thrown near Suhagi hill.
