Police team conducted the program
The program was started by the traffic police team, in which inspector in-charge traffic building Singh Maurya, sub-inspector Tilak Singh and e-challan administrator Rajat played an important role. Police officers distributed traffic awareness pamphlets to teachers and students and gave detailed information on the importance of traffic rules.
Helmet and seat belt are necessary for safety
During the program it was told that use of helmet is mandatory while driving a two-wheeler and use of seat belt is mandatory while driving a four-wheeler. Also, it was advised not to drive the vehicle at high speed and carelessly. Emphasis was also laid on not driving after consuming alcohol, following traffic signals and understanding the rules.
Inspector in-charge’s appeal – “Show responsibility towards each other on the road”
Inspector in-charge Bhawan Singh Maurya said, “Following traffic rules is important not only for our safety but also for the safety of others. We should understand that everyone should show responsibility towards each other on the road.”
Oath and License Information
In the programme, students were administered an oath to follow traffic rules. Along with this, information about the documents and process required for making the license was given. Instructor Rajat explained what are the requirements for making a license and why it is important to submit the documents correctly.
Dr Ashish Srivastava, coordinator of the programme, said, “Such programs are helpful in highlighting the importance of road safety in the society.” At the end of the program, the principals of both the institutions expressed their gratitude to the police officers and wished for the success of the program.
