Nainital: You must have often heard of incidents of theft, but a unique case of theft has come to light from Khairna market in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Where a girl in a car stole a set of warm kurti and palazzo from a shop. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the shop, after which the shopkeeper informed the police about the entire incident.
According to the information, a woman got down from a black car at a shop in Khairna Bazaar located on the Nainital-Almora motor road last Sunday at around 11 am to go shopping in a shop named Modern Garments and Boot House located in Khairna Bazaar. But there was no one in the shop at that time. Taking advantage of this, the woman picked up the carry bag kept in the counter, quickly came out of the shop and ran away in the car.
Avoided collision with Bolero
When the woman was running fast towards the car after stealing from the shop, she narrowly avoided colliding with a Bolero while crossing the road. After that the girl and a young man sat in the car and left towards Haldwani. When the shop owner reached the shop, he found the goods kept in the counter missing. After this he saw the CCTV footage, in which the girl had been caught stealing. In the CCTV footage, the girl can also be seen coming out of the shop and driving away in the car. After which the shopkeeper informed the Khairna outpost police about this matter. On receiving the information, Khairna police started investigating the case.
SI Dilip Kumar of Khairna Police said that this incident is being investigated by the police, and efforts are being made to find out the identity of the girl and her whereabouts.
